Inauguration:
The Satsang activities were started by the famous Tamil writer, Sri. Balakumaran, in the year 199?. They are still being carried out with full vigor even after his demise.

Daily Activities:
Every day, in the morning and evening, prayer is done with the chanting of Ramnam and Yogi Namam along with the rendering of the songs written by Sri Balakumaran.

Regular Activities:
On the second Saturday of every month, the devotees will gather and do japa and mantra chantings and meditation.

Annual Events:
Yogi Ramsuratkumar Jayanti is conducted on a grand scale every year, in a big marriage hall. In the morning, Homam and other Vedic rituals are performed. This includes the chanting of the Vedas, Upanishads, respectful feeding of the Brahmins, and honoring the Brahmins with gifts. There would be special programmes in the evening. Apart from offering food and clothes to the needy, prasadam and other gift articles like daily calendar, mementos with Yogi’s picture, etc. are distributed to the devotees.

Charity Activities:
During the important temple celebrations like the 64 Nayanmars’ Day and Kabhaaleeswarar Tirukalyanam Day, free distribution of prasadam, clothes and other auspicious items are done. The satsang also extends financial help for education of the needy.
