Yogi Ramsuratkumar Bhavan was set up by Sri Krishna Carcelle (Gaurakrishna), a French devotee of Yogi Ramsuratkumar. He had set up the website of ‘Yogi Ramsuratkumar Bhavan’ with the blessings of his Master, and he has been publishing free ebooks on Yogi Ramsuratkumar.
The website http://yogiramsuratkumar.info of the Bhavan was the first website in 1997 on Yogi Ramsuratkumar, when Bhagavan Yogi Ramsuratkumar was still in His physical body. At that time, it was created to make Him be known among the French speaking countries. A monthly Vedanta Magazine called ‘Rama Nama’ was also published in this website.
Books in English about Bhagavan were translated in French and these were made available for the French speaking countries like France, Canada, and parts of Africa. The books of Sadhu Rangarajan, Ma Devaki, Sri Parthasarathy and others are available in this site. Many articles were also written about Bharat Mata, etc. Bhagavan’s favourite article written by Sri Krishna was “India My Mother, Yogi My Father“.
Considering the difficulty in finding French translations of Indian scriptures, the articles of Indian sages, like Swami Rama Tirtha, Swami Vivekananda, etc were translated into French. The 3 volumes of the Complete Works of Swami Rama Tirtha were published in French by Yogi Ramsuratkumar Bhavan.
This site also captures in English the experiences of devotees who have met Yogiji, providing a translation in French.
Sri Krishna Carcelle and his Yogi Ramsuratkumar Bhavan have been instrumental in spreading the life and mission of Yogi Ramsuratkumar to the French speaking people.
About the ashram: Yogi Ramsuratkumar Nama Ashram has been established by the Agsar family under the guidance of Sri Swamiji to fulfill Paranur Mahatma Sri Sri Krishna Premi Maharaj’s wish to have numerous Nama Kirtan centres around Sri Bodhendral’s Adhishtanam, A lively and beautiful depiction of Sri Yogi Ramsuratkumar in front of a miniature of Thiruvannamalai is the unique feature here.
Daily Activities: Daily Nama Kirtan and annadhaanam are performed.
